Full-Time Journeyman Technician
Rawlins, WY | $28+/hour DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role involves performing complete truck service, including major engine and electronic repairs, while maintaining a professional and positive attitude with both customers and team members.

- Bachelor’s Degree, Certificate, or Diploma
- Fields of Study:
- Automotive Technology
- Diesel Technology
- Welding
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics
- Perform repairs on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake replacements, alignments, and fluid checks
- Repair or replace electrical systems and electronic modules
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized repair tools accurately
- Read and interpret technical schematics and service manuals
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and quality control procedures
- Document inspections, diagnostics, and repair processes thoroughly
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic (dealership or repair shop preferred)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance
- Experience working on heavy machinery
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform wheel alignments and precision powertrain work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Valid Journeyman Technician certification or equivalent technical training
